Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Services

Desert Paws Mobile Grooming LLC provides mobile dog grooming services at client-specified locations within our service area. All services are performed by certified, insured groomers.

2. Appointments

Appointments are scheduled by phone or online request. We confirm all appointments by phone and provide an exact price quote before the appointment date. The quote is based on your dog's size, breed, and coat condition as described. If conditions differ significantly from the description, we may adjust the price with your approval before proceeding.

3. Cancellation Policy

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a $25 late cancellation fee. No-shows may be charged the full service fee.

4. Payment

Payment is due at time of service. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash. No deposits are required for first-time appointments.

5. Health and Safety

All dogs must be current on core vaccinations (rabies, distemper, parvovirus). We reserve the right to refuse service to dogs showing signs of contagious illness. Dogs with severe aggression that poses a safety risk to our groomers may be declined service or referred to a veterinary groomer.

6. Senior Dogs and Medical Conditions

Grooming can be stressful for senior or medically compromised dogs. We take extra care with senior dogs and ask that owners disclose any medical conditions before the appointment. We are not liable for complications resulting from pre-existing conditions.

7. Mats and De-Matting

Severely matted coats may require a shave-down rather than a traditional groom. We will notify you before proceeding with any shave-down and obtain your approval. De-matting beyond a reasonable level is not performed at Desert Paws — it is painful for the dog.

8. Liability

Desert Paws maintains $$2,000,000 in general liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the cost of services rendered. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for any dog that poses a safety risk to our groomers or that cannot be safely groomed in a mobile environment.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
